KATIE Price has been snapped arriving for work with some rather questionable hair extensions.
Katie, 39, was pictured outside ITV’s London studios ahead of Thursday’s episode of Loose Women and it was obvious that her current long brown tresses are not her own.
The mum-of-five’s locks looked clumped together at the root, with the hair extension bonds clearly visible.
Showing off her tanned tummy in a red crop top, Katie hid behind dark glasses and kept her head down as she headed inside.
Earlier this year, Katie revealed that she was suffering from baldness caused by stress.
At the time, the former glamour model was frank with fans, admitting that she often wears a wig to cover up her thinning hair.
Hitting back at one follower who blamed hair extension for the bald patches, Katie wrote on Instagram: “I’ve had 5 kids stress last year and hair loss due to it so not extensions so thanks for the put down!”
Unfortunately for Katie, the stress in her life has only continued to spiral since then.
Not only has she been forced to endure the breakdown of her marriage, after it emerged her third husband Kieran had been cheating again, Katie also revealed she had suffered a miscarriage.
Then in another huge blow, the star received the devastating news that her mum Amy is terminally ill.
Amy has been diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, which causes a build up of scar tissue on the lungs.
The condition makes breathing increasingly difficult and Amy has been given between three and five years to live.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun’s agony aunt, Deidre Sanders, last month, Katie admitted she was almost at breaking point.
She said: “I feel like I am in shock and I don’t know what I am doing, what I am feeling. This isn’t a normal situation. To go through so much in such a short time is stressful.
“It is difficult to cope. I don’t know how I am doing it. But I don’t want to be a victim. I am a survivor.
“But I do worry what tomorrow brings. I worry I will wake up and have some kind of breakdown, that it will all become too much.”
