It’s Nicki Minaj au natural! The rapper shared a series of post-shower, topless, makeup-free photos on Wednesday, Mar. 5, dripping and drying off her hair.

Six of the photos feature a squeaky clean Minaj standing in front of a bathroom mirror smiling and flaunting her body, while two additional pics show the singer, wearing a bathrobe and holding up her wet hair. In one, the “Masquerade” singer gives the camera a fierce stare-down on her makeup-free face. Two side-angle photos show the rapper cupping her breasts and giddily smiling for the camera. The others are shots taken from the backside prominently featuring her soggy hair.

The sexy shots included no captions, although the singer later explained who took the body shots from afar. “Sherika did,” Minaj told a fan. “Sherika sat there and let me relax my hair after 4 years. TT can’t believe I did it,” she tweeted of her close pal. “Don’t hit Sherika either. She’s on a plane now. Ha!”

(Relaxed hair is a process that allows women with super curly hair to detangle and essentially chemically alter their tresses to smoother locks. The process is very complicated and requires strict control. If done incorrectly, it can damage natural hair.)

Minaj then continued her Twitter convo and explained why she shared the photos via social media. “It takes too much time to do it. Too much blow drying,” she said of her hair. The singer also retreated a fan who wrote, “Nicki is just lazy she could have hired somebody to blow dry her head.”

But the biggest indicator of all as to why Minaj shared the snaps of her hair was her final tweet from late Wednesday night. “Plus I got new hair products Coming out so I gotta show u guys how well they work,” she told fans. “Lmfao.”
